GOD'S PERFECT WILL

Scripture Reading - Colossian 1:25-28

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: KJV

Many times we are seeking God’s Perfect Will for our life and although this is good, let us consider just how easy it is for us to be in "God’s Perfect Will". We don’t need to seek what we are already partaking of. We don’t need to try to obtain what we are already created to be in Christ Jesus. The Perfect Will of God is Jesus Christ all those who are in Christ are inside of God’s Perfect Will. The perfect will of God is not done by our good works, nor is it totally dependent upon our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. The simplicity of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ puts all of the major emphasis upon the resurrection of Jesus, He and He alone, is worthy of all the glory, honor and praise. So when you are thinking about being in God’s Perfect Will know with all confidence that as long as you are a Christian you are inside of Jesus Christ, who is God’s Perfect Will. Everything Jesus did in His life, death and resurrection was done perfectly and we obtained His gift of righteousness (perfection in Christ) because He gave us His divine nature. The Lord established perfection by His good deeds and obedience, therefore we can not improve upon His finished work. We inherited perfection simply because we are in Christ Jesus and He is God, and God is as perfect as you can get. This does not mean that we are fully mature in the knowledge and revelation of our Heavenly Father. However, every Christian must realize that every child is automatically inside of the perfect will of their parents simply because they were born by their parents. Little children are considered in the perfect will of their parents as long as they are healthy in abiding in their presence. The only thing the children need to concern themselves with is knowing how to love others as their godly parents love them. If you are looking for the perfect will of God it is not a place of utopia but rather a person, yes, the God man Jesus Christ. Enjoy your place in Him with a confident knowing that you living in "God’s Perfect Will", not seeking it for your life. Amen!
